Overall Opinion:
I’m impressed with this cream, so I ranked it 4 out of 5 stars.
I really like the ease of use, application, results, and ingredients.
My skin looks great after using this one for a while. And it didn’t make me break out, which is great news!
My skin looks more radiant, and feels more moisturized, which is what I look for in my moisturizer.
It also has some great, cutting edge ingredients in it. It’s formulated without all the bad stuff too J
One thing I don’t like about this moisturizer is the writing on the jar is in Korean so I couldn’t read it. I had to go online for the instructions and information on it.
But overall, I give this moisturizer 4 out of 5 stars.
Detailed Opinion:
Texture/Feel
This cream actually has more of a gel like texture. It’s not really creamy.
It has a light blue color and is very slick to the touch. I enjoyed how lightweight it is.
Application
Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb is very easy to apply.
The directions state to use twice a day, but this one seems pretty flexible as to how you can use it. You can even use it as a quick 10 minute moisture mask if you’d like to, which I think is pretty cool!
I ended up using it both morning and night on my face and neck.
The product is very easy to blend in and doesn’t leave any white cast on your skin at all. It goes on clear, which makes it very clean to apply.
Drying Time
Once applied, it takes about 3-5 minutes to dry on your skin.
That’s a little bit longer than I’d like, but it’s still not that bad compared to some. It can just be a little annoying if you’re waiting for it to dry so you can apply makeup on top of it.
It feels a little bit sticky until it dries, which had me worried at first. But thankfully the tackiness goes away once the product dries in a few minutes.
Smell
This one has a very, very faint smell.
The light smell it has is fresh and clean smelling.
But the smell very quickly dissipates once you apply it to your skin. I actually kind of wish the scent stuck around longer because it smells good!
Immediate Results
Immediately after applying the first night, my skin felt pretty smooth. I didn’t notice any other immediate effects besides that.
Longer Term Results
Using this moisturizer long term is where it really shined.
After using it for a while, I saw some really good changes in my skin. My overall skin tone looked and felt smoother, without the addition of any new breakouts.
It didn’t clog my pores or cause any excess oil, which is great for me. I have combination skin, and most products tend to make me oily. Now, after about 6-8 hours of having this on, I got a little shine, but that’s about as good as I can hope for.
A lot of moisturizers are too heavy and end up giving me acne. I’m pleased to say this one doesn’t. It’s very lightweight and worked great for my skin.
Now, the best part is it left my skin feeling so moisturized. It completely healed up any dryness I had, and even helped lock in some extra moisture.
Ingredient Notes
This moisturizer is packed with good ingredients, which I’m happy to see.
It’s formulated without mineral oils, petrolatum, synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances, and animal origin ingredients. I’m thrilled to see this, as a lot of companies add unnecessary ingredients such as dyes and fragrances.
Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb has some very intriguing ingredients.
First, it has Lady’s Mantle, which is actually known for helping to heal cuts and wounds. So it’s very good for damaged skin.
It also has Malachite, which is a green mineral. When used in skin care, it can help protect against free radicals.
Oat Husk is another great ingredient that’s known for being gentle and helping to lock in moisture.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the ingredients here.
Guarantee
You can’t buy this moisturizer through the actual Belif website, which I think is odd. Belif is a Korean brand so maybe that’s why.
So the guarantee will depend on where you purchase it. If you purchase through Sephora, they have a good guarantee.
